ALLISON LAKE WEATHER


Allison Lake is a small lake side community located 28 km north of Princeton B.C. The quiet community is easy to access and offers plenty of recreational opportunities featuring ATVing, hiking, motorized boating and water sports. There is a provincial campground and public day use area with boat launch located on the south end of the lake.

Allison Lake consists of two separate neighbourhoods. The eastern neighbourhood features approximately 74 homes that are serviced by a community water system. Many of these properties have lake views and enjoy direct access to the lake via two public boat launches. There is an ATV trailhead across the highway that provides access to Stringer Lake and crown land.

Daily Fun


The south end of Allison Lake features the provincial park's public beach and picnic area. The public park offers day use parking to take advantage of the numerous activities in the area. These include picnic tables overlooking the lakeside beach and a boat launch for taking advantage of fishing or recreational water sports. The 2.5km lake view trailhead is also located here for hiking and nature walking enthusiasts.

North Subdivision


The northern lakeside neighbourhood includes 35 properties that are approximately 1/2 to 1 acre in size. Originally developed so each property could take advantage of the lake view. Each property is serviced by it's own private well and septic system. The neighbourhood features a public boat launch and is connected to the south side day use park by a beautiful 2.5 km walking trail.

Approximately 23 acres in size, the small park offers 22 unserviced campsites during the summer season. Amenities included at the campground are pit toilets and cold water taps, with picnic tables and fire rings at each site. The campground provides a great base camp for plenty of activities including swimming, canoeing, motorized boating & waterskiing, fishing, and hiking.

How to Get There


Allison Lake is located approximately 29 kms north of Princeton via Highway 5a. With Merritt 30 minutes north and Princeton 20 minutes south, it’s easy to make a quick trip for groceries and essentials, or to attend events and activities throughout the year. The easy drive from Princeton offers small picturesque lakes littered along the highway. These lakes provide plenty of fishing opportunities year round.
